Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s start-ups raised more than two million euros last year
Estonia’s largest business incubator Tehnopol Startup Incubator is expecting applications from start-ups until September 9. This is the last chance this year to enter the programme and grow your start-up with excellent mentors.
The vigorous growth programme is meant for early-stage tech start-ups and its main goal is to help start-ups get their products or services to the market, and create prerequisites for investments.
In order to apply for the programme, you must have:
- solid business idea
- dedicated team
- initial prototype
- belief in your product or service
- let’s-do-it mindset
Kadri Tammai, the manager of Tehnopol Startup Incubator, said that each year, about 50% of the start-ups established in Estonia take part in the incubator’s programme.
“Amazing Estonian start-up success stories, like Bolt and Pipedrive, directly affect the creation of new start-ups – if newcomers see that it is possible to create companies worth several billions right here in Estonia, it inspires them to act. Our programme is the first of many on the path of start-ups, which gives them the certainty that with the help of experienced mentors, they are on the right course and will get their products to the market,” said Tammai.
Good alumni examples
Fresh examples of the companies that have participated in the programme are Aufort, which allows to digitally invest in gold. The company raised 200 000 euros last year through private co-financing and they are already preparing for a new investment round.
Startup Incubator was also the springboard for EcoPetBox, which raised more than half a million euros from the investors during the programme. Earlier programmes have seen many start-ups that are widely known today: Bikeep, Bidrento, ZÄP, Sentinel, Mygames, etc. Various start-ups that have taken part in the programme raised more than two million euros last year.
Applications are welcome until September 9. Additional information about the programme: www.startupincubator.ee/en/
