Tehnopol recognised as EstBAN’s Partner of the Decade

Last week, the Estonian Business Angels Network (EstBAN) celebrated their 10th anniversary with EstBAN10 Angel Summit. Kadri Tammai, the Head of Tehnopol Startup Incubator, rocked the stage with Estonian unicorns Starship Technologies, Bolt and Glia, disproving the misconception that angels never get the hottest deals.

And that wasn’t the only time Tehnopol was represented on the stage! During Angel Summit Gala, we got an amazing surprise – EstBAN honoured us with Partner of the Decade title! And to be honest – the feeling is mutual, since EstBAN Angels have supported our start-ups a lot during the years by leading Investment Readiness workshops, organizing annual Tehnopol x EstBAN Demo Days, not to mention first-round investments to our companies and contribution to an upcoming cooperation project to develop the deeptech ecosystem.

“Angel investors are a true blessing – not only do they invest, but the actual added value they bring along is priceless, if you manage to onboard the right angels. So, it’s kind of logical that incubators work with business angels. But the true magic happens if you work with the right kind of people. Estonia really has the BEST start-up ecosystem and I promise that together we will make it grow even faster!” said Kadri Tammai.
