23 startups started in the first batch of Startup Incubator’s new growth program

Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s new growth program started on the 21st of April with the 23 startups in the first batch. Growth program offers technology based startups a wide range of top mentors and an assistance in attracting investments, creating a contact network and entering export markets.

The mentality of the Startup Incubator’s team “we will succeed together or we will fail together” has yielded surprising and proud-making results. Almost 60% of startups are sustainable for years after the incubator program ends.

“We are working with very early stage startups, where the risk of failure is actually very high. Therefore, the help of experienced mentors is critical at this stage – you don’t have to go through all the crises and mistakes yourself, the smarter ones learn from others and succeed faster. Finding the right investor is also very important for most startups – a good investor not only supports you financially, but is actually an additional advisor and creator of new contacts and opportunities. That is why we also work closely with EstBan and other angel investor networks and venture capital funds in the Startup Incubator, ” said Kadri Tammai, the head of the Tehnopol Startup Incubator.

Tehnopol Startup Incubator offers

  • 6 practical and exclusive training days from the experts
  • thousands of euros worth of expert advice from mentors from Estonia and Europe

The first batch of the new growth program started last week, when Raido Pikkar, a long-time key mentor of Startup Incubator and CEO of Thorgate, conducted a daily workshop on “business model and team”.
