Estonian start-up Tikker to simplify ticket reselling process
The Estonian start-up world has received another newcomer – a start-up called Tikker, which is also part of Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s programme. Tikker aims to make recelling tickets to cultural events easier and faster. This is the only website that includes the information of cultural events in real time.
Tikker offers a ticket reselling platform where the user can quickly and reliably sell their tickets to events where they cannot attend themselves. It is also possible to buy tickets to events that are soon starting. This kind of solution is especially useful during the pandemic, since the platform allows users to buy and sell tickets in a flexible and contact-free way.
“Our mission is to make sure that no tickets will ever go to waste. We’ve all been in situations where we have already bought tickets to some events, but we cannot make it and we need to get rid of the ticket,” said Inger Kitt, the co-founder of Tikker. She said that Tikker aims to make the reselling process easier for all.
Tikker offers a useful tool for event organisers as well, since they can easily sell their tickets via Tikker. You can add tickets to Tikker as late as 10 minutes before the event starts.
In addition, Tikker offers the largest overview of Estonian cultural events in real time. The database is constantly renewed and everyone will find a suitable event that they might not have thought of before.
Tikker joined Tehnopol Startup Incubator’s programme in June 2021.
